Traditional weaving, called rito is a time honored fine craft. This fine weaving is made from the uncurled fiber of the coconut palm. These young fronds are cured in salt water and are meticulously woven together making it a highly valued and sought after craft by locals.
Our traditional rito fan is bound by a polished pearl shell. This creates a beautiful handle as well as creating a functional and natural fan. Span of the fan measures approximately 15-16" including fringe. Iti fan is approximately 8" wide.
