The Pikake was named by Hawaii's Princess Kaiulani, who compared its exotic beauty to the peacocks that roamed her garden. Its intoxicating fragrance and extremely delicate cream colored blossoms make it an island treasure. These Alohatherapy Hawaiian fruit & flower oils are cosmetic-grade fragrances, well suited for body & skin care in a base of pure sweet almond oil and jojoba oil.
From the ancient Egyptians, to the exotic Far East, to locales including Mesopotamia, Greece, Babylon, Rome and Africa, aromatherapy has been in use in one form or another throughout their long histories.
The basic principle of Aromatherapy is to strengthen the self-healing processes by indirect stimulation of the immune system. Essential oils use varies, ranging from deep and penetrating therapeutic uses to the extreme subtlety of a unique fragrance. No two people are affected by the same essential oil in exactly the same way.
